Born in Aughton, Lancashire 1894 Died 22nd March 1968
Known universally as "D.I.” Married Everard Cecil Abraham RAMC. MC. MB in 1946 She was a Magistrate for 30 years First woman to be appointed Deputy Chairman of the Bench Her mother was Lancashire County Captain in 1927 The Abraham Trophy (Junior Girls) was given in her memory by her stepson, Lieutenant-Commander Nelson Abraham in 1968 The Abraham Dogs were given in her memory by ELGA in 1968 (originally four. Two more added by England Golf when Counties were regrouped into 6 regions)
